Ke-ola Is Getting Stronger

We miss you Ke-ola
but happy you're getting better.
I woke up to a flat tire and an even sadder looking spare. And while Southern California is in an official drought, today the skies decided to rain. I couldn't drive my car until I had my tire fixed. All of the other drivers in the house were busy with work or doctor's appointments. My visit to see Ke-ola will need to wait until I can fix my tire. I'm sad I won't be able to see him as I had planned today but I spoke with Robin from Pet Hospital this morning and she said he was doing very well. He's been eating all of his food and is beginning to move the phlegm out of his lungs more consistently. She also added that he is ALL tail wags for everyone.

While my family and I miss him here at home we are all so grateful for the care he is receiving at Pet Hospital. I can't imagine how difficult the weather would be for him today if he were at home and without his special treatments. Thank you again I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue and Pet Hospital in Orange for  helping Ke-ola. And thank you all very much for all of your thoughts, prayers and well wishes for Ke-ola.

I spoke with Kim from Pet Hospital this afternoon and she said he was doing well and that he misses us. We miss him too. She said she'd try to send me a picture of Ke-ola to share if it was possible for her today. (I think Pet Hospital's staff is what makes it such a special place. Love you guys!)

Roland Jr. recored this song to send to Ke-ola at the Pet Hospital. While it's difficult to bring an instrument the size of a harp to see Ke-ola, technology gives us the opportunity to send him the healing vibrations through cyberspace. I hope we can see him tomorrow and I can play the song for Ke-ola on my phone. For now sweet boy please know that you are in our thoughts, prayers and hearts.
