Another rainy day

He's itchy again. :(
It was our second day of heavy rains and Ke-ola is still not convinced it's worth getting wet. We were lucky because there were moments throughout the day that the rain stopped. We took advantage as much as we could to take Ke-ola outside. He doesn't mind the puddles and the mud, it's the falling water from the sky that he prefers to avoid.

Ke-ola's new friend Pipluck
He ate well today and took his antibiotics and had his treatments. His skin was looking great but he has started itching again. I think it could be the bleach and water solution I use to clean the floors when he has an accident. Given that he had a difficult time going out in the rain he had quite a few accents inside. I mopped the floors with bleach and water and then went over them with clean water. I'm hoping it will help Ke-ola's itching calm down.

He really didn't care for the thunder and lighting so we found him a buddy to hold on to…Pipluck the pokemon.
It's a bird…it's a plane…
it's the flying dog!

Roland felt badly that Ke-ola was stuck inside all day. He spent the better part of the afternoon and evening playing ball with Ke-ola. They are really too funny together. Roland Jr. captured some of their play. I had to laugh when I saw it. Roland is so proud that Ke-ola knows how to do "the flying dog".

They say "boys never outgrow needing their toys", I say "boys never outgrow needing their dogs." Ke-ola has brought play back into Roland's life and it is a beautiful thing to see.

Wishing you and your pack peace today and everyday. Thank you for visiting.
